'This Is It' Out On DVD In January
"Michael Jackson's This Is It," a film about the King of Pop's final rehearsals before his death, will be released on DVD on Jan. 26, 2010.
The DVD release was announced Monday by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. "This Is It" captures Jackson's final performances as he rehearsed for his concerts in London. He died June 25, just weeks before his marathon of 50 concerts was to begin.
The DVD includes two documentaries, "Staging the Return: Beyond the Show" and "Staging the Return: The Adventure Begins," which highlight Jackson as he prepared for the concerts.
The film has grossed more than $70 million in the United States.
Chelsea Clinton Engaged To Be Married
Chelsea Clinton, the 29-year old daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, has become engaged to her longtime boyfriend, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky.
The couple sent an e-mail to friends Friday announcing the news. They said they were looking at a possible wedding next summer. Matt McKenna, a spokesman for the former president, confirmed the engagement Monday.
Mezvinsky is a son of former Pennsylvania Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky and former Iowa Rep. Ed Mezvinsky, longtime friends of the Clintons. Ed Mezvinsky was released from federal prison last year after pleading guilty in 2002 to charges of bank and wire fraud.
Last summer, Hillary Clinton was forced to tamp down speculation that her daughter and Mezvinsky were already engaged and would marry in August on Martha's Vineyard. Those rumors proved to be false.
The couple became friends as teenagers in Washington and both attended Stanford University. They now live in New York, where Mezvinsky works at Goldman Sachs and Clinton is attending graduate school at Columbia University's School of Public Health.
After shunning the public spotlight for years, Chelsea Clinton became a fixture on the campaign trail during her mother's presidential bid in 2008, visiting colleges and universities around the country.
Girl Interrupted, Girl Bitten, Girl Thoroughly Grossed Out
Shamefully, I can totally understand the hype over the Twilight phenomenon, right?! But what I don’t understand is how or why old people are getting into it. More so, than others.
A 45-year old man is clearly disturbed by the whole saga because during a screening, he leans over and makes sexual comments to the girl in front of him during one of the movies’ more sensual scenes. What happens next is sure to disturb even the most jaded human being. According to sources, after the movie was over, he leans over and bites the poor 17-year old girl in her neck.
Thankfully no blood was drawn, but unfortunately police didn’t catch him

Nice ass RiRi! The fashion princess was spotted over the weekend leaving the Margiela show wearing almost nothing! Latley she has been wearing a lot of black and less clothing. Wonder what BFF Katy Perry would say about this little outfit? P.S. Rihanna’s best friend Katy Perry is offically dating Russell Brand!
RIP America’s Little Mermaid
Shiloh Pepin, affectionately known to the public as Mermaid Girl, passed away at the age of 10.
Shiloh was born with a condition called sirenomelia. She was born with her legs fused together with no lower colon, genital organs and only one barely working kidney.
After her appearances on TLC and The Oprah Winfrey Show, she become a media darling. Her resilience and bravery captured the hearts of all who watched her.
We are all in mourning for this little soul. But we also take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ceased.

Rihanna Performs Without Pants
Emotions aren't the only thing Rihanna's revealing these days.
The Rated R singer donned a white jacket and not much else for her performance this morning on Good Morning America in Times Square. Well, thats one way to sell an album...
Before singing three songs, "Wait Your Turn," "Russian Roulette," and fan fave "Umbrella," the singer apparently had a little wardrobe malfunction.
"I'm a little too fat right now, my dress…the zip busted in the back," she said after her performance. "They're like, 'A minute to live,' I'm like, 'Oh my god!' They wanted to stitch it up, but I

25 American Best Movies of 2009
500-Days-summer f02
District 9
Most blockbuster movies are filled with overrated stars (i.e. Will Smith and Tom Cruise) and are seemingly contrived, made only to make money. Thankfully this year there were not as many movies that make us gag and there was an impressive list of quality movies.
Drew Barrymore made her directorial debut in 2009 and it shocked us when we only had Whip It! as the 25th best movie. It shows you how many good movies there were this year and it was a well-written and very fun movie. Ellen Page (Juno) starred and it was about a girl finding herself in the roller derby rink.
Matt Damon made us laugh but disappointingly not enough in The Informant! (24) and Vanessa Hudgens' Bandslam (23) is a movie that many people have incorrectly interpreted and it is our 23rd best movie of 2009.
Most people think Hudgens is a talentless bimbo because she is super hot and dating the best looking dude in the world but Bandslam is not what most people perceive it as, a High School Musical knock off. Hudgens graces the movie poster with a smile and is the reason why this movie should win the award for worst marketing of the year.
She played a snarky teenage musician, not a pop tart smiling good girl, and they marketed the movie as such, which ruined the box office but not the quality. Ironically her movie made the list and her blockbuster BF Zac Efron did not, but we still loved 17 Again.
500 Days of Summer (22) was good and Food Inc. (21) was also, we recommend both, but some people might think they have seen a million 500 Days before and think they Food Inc. is Fast Food Nation 2.0, but we liked both and think they are top movies of 2009. 1. Inglourious Basterds
2. Bruno
3. Gomorrah
4. Sin Nombre
5. The Hangover
6. Public Enemies
7. The Girlfriend Experience
8. Up
9. Adventureland
10. Paranormal Activity
11. District 9

14. Captialism: A Love Story
15. State of Play
16. Notorious
17. I Love You, Man
18. Zombieland

20. Taken
21. Food Inc
22. 500 Days of Summer
23. Bandslam
24. The Informant!
25. Whip It
Nivea Still Pregnant With Lil Wayne's Baby
R&B singer Nivea has brushed off reports she's welcomed a child with Lil Wayne, insisting she's still pregnant.
The rapper was said to have been celebrating last week after Nivea made him a father for the fourth time by giving birth to a son.
However, Nivea, who has three other children from her previous relationship with producer The-Dream, has taken to her blog on Twitter.com to set the story straight, telling fans she's still waiting for the new arrival.
She writes, "OK, I didn't have my baby yet unfortunately! So far (everything) you've heard or read is false, sorry!"
The new baby will be Lil Wayne's second child born this year - actress Lauren London gave birth to his son Lennox Samuel Ari in September.
The Lollipop hit-maker also has another son, Dwayne Carter III, who was born to an unidentified woman last year, and a daughter, Reginae, with ex-wife Antonia Carter.
Oprah Winfrey Bails Out Her Mom
Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has ended a year-long legal dispute between her mother and bosses of a Wisconsin clothing boutique, paying out $155,547 to settle an outstanding bill.
Vernita Lee had an open-ended charge account with Brookfield boutique Valentina Inc. and racked up the bill in 2008, according to court papers.
She was sued by the company for failing to pay the bill in agreed monthly increments of $2,000.
Lee filed a counter claim, insisting she should not have to pay interest on the account because store bosses extended credit to her even though they were well aware of her troubles managing debt.
Adam Lambert On AMAs Outrage: 'It's Because I'm A Gay Male'
Adam Lambert admits he got carried away with his sexually charged American Music Awards performance, but he's offering no apology.
The glam rocker from "American Idol" said on "The Early Show" that his performance would not have caused as much controversy if he weren't openly gay. He also said there were other "adult" moments on the show that caused no outrage.
"I admit I did get carried away, but I don't see anything wrong with it," he said Wednesday. "I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it."
Lambert kissed a male keyboard player and had a dancer simulate oral sex on him while performing "For Your Entertainment," a song with a sexual edge. ABC received many complaints about the performance and that network's morning show, "Good Morning America," canceled Lambert's scheduled appearance on Wednesday because it said it couldn't trust what he would do.
"The Early Show" on CBS, perennially third in a three-network morning show race, happily gave him a platform — interviewing him and asking him to sing.
Lambert admitted he didn't rehearse some of the more risque elements of his award show performance — a point that particularly upset ABC, which said it was taken by surprise by what he did. In the future, he said he'd try to get these issues cleared before the show.
But he noted that Lady Gaga smashed whiskey bottles during her performance, Eminem rapped about rape and Janet Jackson briefly groped a male dancer.
"Janet Jackson, crotch grab," he said. "I haven't heard one peep about that."
He said that "if it had been a female pop performer doing (his) moves that were on the stage, I don't think there would be nearly as much of an outrage."
"I think it's because I'm a gay male," he added.
Offered a chance to apologize, he declined. He said he didn't consider that there may have been children watching because his American Music Awards performance came at nearly 11 p.m., and that it's a parent's job to monitor what their children are watching on TV.
"I'm not a baby sitter," he said. "I'm a performer."
Asked what he'd do differently if he had the chance, Lambert said, "I would sing it a little bit better."
"I guess I have a tendency to divide people," he added. "Apples and oranges — you either like it or you don't."
Lambert was scheduled to perform two songs later in the morning broadcast. "For Your Entertainment" wasn't one of them.
"Parents, this is appropriate, I promise," he said at the end of the interview.
"For Your Entertainment" is the first single from Lambert's new album, which went on sale Monday.

Fabolous Linked To Lamborghini Theft
Rapper Fabolous is wanted for police questioning over allegations two members of his entourage were involved in the theft of a sports car in Atlanta, Georgia.
A luxury Lamborghini was taken from outside an up-market hotel in the city on January 31st and police allege two men captured on surveillance footage are members of the hip-hop star's crew.
The film shows the pair taking the car keys from a bellman at the Intercontinental and driving off in the vehicle.
Police investigating the case claim Fabolous - real name John Jackson - has links to the unnamed men, according to Allhiphop.com, and they want to talk to him about the incident. However an attempt to subpoena the rapper for questioning was turned down by the District Attorney, who offered immunity to anyone who helps find the vehicle.
The car's owner, Eric Vargosko, is suing the hotel over the theft.
Michael Jackson's Glove Will Be Main Attraction At A Chinese Hotel
<strong>A rhinestone-studded glove once worn by Michael Jackson is set to go on display in a hotel in the Chinese territory of Macau after selling at auction for more than $350,000.
The iconic glove, worn by the late superstar when he debuted his trademark Moonwalk dance move in 1983, was snapped up by Hong Kong resident Hoffman Ma when it went under the hammer in New York on Saturday.
Ma made the purchase on behalf of the luxury Ponte 16 gaming resort in Macau, where he serves as deputy chief executive, and the owners plan to show off the piece of pop memorabilia next year in a specially-built gallery.
Ponte 16 hotel and casino spokeswoman Jennie Yeung says, "Michael Jackson is a legendary entertainer and so it was very important to buy some of his collectibles. We're definitely planning to exhibit the glove with some of the other items we bought."
Nine other Jackson items won in the Julien's Auctions Music Icons Sale will also be put on display, including a pair of sequined socks and a shirt the King of Pop wore in his Thriller video.

Adam Lambert Defends His Raunchy AMAs Performance
American Idol star Adam Lambert has defended his same-sex kiss onstage at the American Music Awards on Sunday after angry viewers complained about his risqué performance.
The openly gay singer, who claimed second place in the hit TV talent show in May, stunned audiences with a saucy rendition of his debut single For Your Entertainment, groping and writhing with dancers dressed in bondage outfits. He concluded the track by pulling his male keyboardist in for a passionate kiss.
Concerned viewers flooded internet forums with complaints about Lambert moments after he concluded the ceremony.
However, the star insists he wasn't trying to offend viewers, telling the Los Angeles Times, "I'm hoping people were entertained. For those who weren't, maybe I'm not their cup of tea. I'm just trying to have a good time onstage. It's a sexy song. It's 2009; it's time to take more risks. It's about entertainment. People want to be surprised. It's too bad that people are so scared."
And the 27 year old argued that female pop stars have incorporated their sexuality into live shows for years.

Lil Wayne Documentary To Be Released
The documentary movie Lil Wayne tried to have banned has been granted an official release. The Lollipop hit-maker, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., filed a lawsuit for fraud and breach of contract against film executives at Quincy Jones III's QD3 Entertainment in April, alleging they reneged on a deal to give the star final approval of the movie, titled The Carter, before its release. Carter's representatives denounced the project as a "scandalous portrayal" of the MC and claimed it could ruin his reputation because it depicts him in a "negative light".
However, the star's attempt to block the film's release failed - the judge overseeing the case ruled evidence used by Carter's attorney was not strong enough to justify the rapper's claims. And now Carter faces a further blow - the 90-minute documentary is to be released on DVD on November 17th.
The news is the latest in a long line of troubles for the rapper - he's currently awaiting sentencing on firearms charges after he pleaded guilty at a hearing in New York last month.
He's also facing a copyright infringement lawsuit after a man accused the star, along with fellow rapper Birdman, of using his voice on a track without permission.

Janet Jackson Refuses To Watch 'This Is It'
''This Is It''
Janet Jackson has no plans to ever see her late brother Michael's concert documentary movie This Is It - because it would be too painful for the grieving star to watch.
The film, which features video footage of the King of Pop rehearsing for his ill-fated London residency, has been a huge hit with fans and recently passed the $200 million mark at the global box office, just three weeks after its release.
Members of the Jackson family, including patriarch Joe, and Michael's brothers Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon, all turned out for the Los Angeles premiere of This Is It last month - but Janet refuses to watch it. And she admits even walking past the promotional posters for the film gets her choked up with emotion.
In an ABC News exclusive, Janet says, "I have not seen it. I definitely won't, not right now. I don't know if I'd ever see it. (It's) too soon, too hard. It's hard when I see the posters around the city, the commercials, the trailers (on TV). It has (caught me off guard emotionally)."
The Thriller superstar died in June, shortly before he was due to kick off his mammoth tour
Wesley Snipes Appeals Tax Convictions
Wesley Snipes has appealed his three-year prison sentence on U.S. federal tax charges - insisting the term is "unreasonable."
The star was convicted in 2008 of three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax return.
According to prosecutors, who pursued the maximum penalty, Snipes made at least $13.8 million for the years in question and owed $2.7 million in back taxes.
Snipes apologised at the time, insisting he was was "unschooled in the science of law and finance".
In a Georgia Court of Appeals on Friday his attorney accused prosecutors of seeking to make an example out of the actor, insisting the sentence "focused too heavily on deterrence".
Snipes' attorney also argued the actor should have been granted a hearing to decide whether his trial should have been in New York instead of Florida, where he has homes.
Snipes remains free on bail and was not present at the Atlanta courthouse.
The three-judge panel did not issue an immediate decision.

Judge Satisfied With Chris Brown's Progress
Chris has completed just seven out of 52 required domestic violence classes since he was sentenced in June for his attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna - but they're enough to keep him out of jail.
The R&B star was back in court in Los Angeles on Thursday for a progress report hearing, five months after he pleaded guilty to the brutal assault on the "Umbrella" hitmaker in February.
He was ordered to serve six months of hard labor in his home state of Virginia, five years of supervised probation for felony assault and also instructed to attend domestic violence classes.
Brown's progress report showed he has attended seven of the required tutorials, as well as 100 hours of community service.
And the presiding judge was satisfied Brown was on course to completing his sentence, according to TMZ.com.
There was also no evidence to suggest Brown had violated a restraining order imposed on him - as part of his plea deal in June, he agreed to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna, unless they were at the same function.
The 20 year old's next progress report hearing is scheduled for February 18.
The Vatican Deems 'Twilight' 'Deviant'
The Twilight:New Moon Picture.
"Pope Benedict XVI"
The Roman Catholic Church has expressed concerns over the growing popularity of the Twilight movies - Vatican officials have called the vampire franchise a "moral vacuum with a deviant message."
The second film in the series, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, hit cinemas this week and the movie's stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, have been traveling the world to promote the release.
However the worldwide hype, along with masses of hysterical teenage fans, has drawn criticism from the Vatican, with officials urging parents to be more vigilant about the type of films their children are watching.
Monsignor Franco Perazzolo, of the Pontifical Council of Culture, says, "The theme of vampires in Twilight combines a mixture of excesses that as ever is aimed at young people and gives a heavy esoteric element. It is once again that age-old trick or ideal formula of using extremes to make an impact at the box office. This film is nothing more than a moral vacuum with a deviant message and as such should be of concern."
Vatican officials previously criticized the Harry Potter film franchise for its themes of magic and wizardry, as well as Dan Brown adaptations The Da Vinci Code, and Angels and Demons for their depiction of the Catholic Church.

50 Cent Has His Tattoos Removed
Rapper 50 Cent has had the tattoos on his arms removed - so he doesn't have to spend hours in the make-up chair on film sets.
The star, real name Curtis Jackson, is tired of early call times so his skin art can be covered up - and so he has gone under the Laser to have many of his tattoos erased.
He says, "I took 'em off. I've been on a few acting projects and they been making me get up... My call time is four hours before the regular acting talent because of the tattoos."
"I've got a project I'm supposed to be doing with Nicolas Cage, called The Dance, it's a boxing film... it's like my passion project and... when you're a fighter you're sweating (and) with a whole bunch of make-up on and stuff like that, it doesn't look real to me."
However, there's one tattoo 50 will never peel off: "I kept my back piece. I can't take that off."
