Lady Gaga And Justin Bieber Race Towards 1 Billion YouTube Views

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are now unlikely rivals: the two are soaring towards one billion views on YouTube, and whoever gets there will be the first star to hit the mark in the website's history.

Lady Gaga averages 2.5 million views a day on the site, whereas Bieber averages 4 million. In comparison, Kanye West gets 200,000 hits a day, and Michael Jackson nets 600,000 hits a day.
At this rate, Lady Gaga appears to have Justin beat thanks to her head start, and will surpass the billion hits mark around October 20. Justin could match the mark sometime in November. Of course, now that attention has been brought to the "race," fans of both artists will no doubt be vying to bring their chosen artist to the top first.

Lil Wayne Moved To Solitary Confinement

Jailed rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly been put in an "isolation cell" and had his privileges cut after he was caught with prison contraband for the second time this year.
The hip-hop star is serving a year-long sentence at New York's Rikers Island prison after pleading guilty to gun possession charges.

Wayne was reprimanded back in May when jail officials found he was hiding banned music equipment during a search of his cell. And the musician has been caught with banned items again - headphones and a charger were found in his room, according to TMZ.com.
The website claims Wayne will spend 23 hours a day in an isolation space as punishment and his only out-of-cell time is restricted to visits, religious services and 60 minutes of recreational time. His phone privileges have reportedly been reduced to one personal phone call a week.

A Very Pregnant Alicia Keys In New York City

Alicia Keys walked hand in hand with her new husband Swizz Beats in the Tribecca District of New York City earlier this week. Alicia is definitely showing off her baby bump!

The couple wed in Corsica, France, in late July. The singer announced her pregnancy and engagement to Beatz in May, and their first child is due later this year.
The R&B star scared fans during her performance at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana, earlier this summer when she fell on her backside while on stage. She had concert goers fearing for her and her unborn baby's safety when she tumbled backwards and fell while singing "Love Is Blind."
A source close to the star insisted mother and baby were unharmed in the incident.

"I'm afraid for anybody ... any of his competition when he gets out, because I just feel like it's going to be monumental. He's in a great state,” Minaj added.
Nicki also revealed, “When I speak to him, he sounds like he has some sort of clear understanding of everything now, almost like he's had some weird sort of epiphany since he's been there, so I'm sure his stuff is only going to get better."
